Listening for Direction : A National Consultation on health services and policy issues
The Listening for Direction process is designed to identify the important and pressing issues in the management and organization of health service delivery that would benefit from an investment in research. These issues are then “translated” into certain broad theme areas with examples of researchable questions in terms of synthesis and new research.
Listening for Direction III
In 2007, eight national organizations partnered for the third round of Listening for Direction to identify short-term (one to two years) and longer-term (three to 10 years) health system priorities. With additional financial support from Health Canada, the consultations were extended for the first time to include the northern territories - the Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
Final Report 2008
This report summarizes the 10 themes which are priority areas for research funding and policy development by numerous organizations throughout Canada.
