  • More than $2.6 million to be invested in patient engagement projects and research

    CHSRF, the Health Council of Canada and the Max Bell Foundation have partnered to fund 12 intervention projects and two accompanying research projects, through CHSRF’s Patient Engagement Initiative.

  • RFP: Analyzing the impact of the Effective Governance for Quality and Patient Safety program

    CHSRF is funding a team to conduct research on ways to support citizens who play a governance role in the healthcare system, with a specific focus on quality and patient safety. Applications due Sept. 10, 2010.

  • CHSRF funds economic analysis of primary healthcare

    CHSRF is providing up to $50,000 to the C.T. Lamont Primary Healthcare Research Centre to study the economics of achieving high-quality healthcare.

  • New report examines the state of advanced practice nursing in Canada

    CHSRF commissioned this report to develop a better understanding of how and where APNs are employed and the factors affecting their integration in the Canadian healthcare system. It provides recommendations based on 60 interviews, more than 500 papers and a policy roundtable.
