The Foundation is seeking a Director, Healthcare Financing and Transformation to complement its existing team of dynamic employees. THIS IS A FULL-TIME, 2 YEAR TERM POSITION.
  
The Director, Healthcare Financing and Transformation Initiative is responsible for coordinating a multi-year initiative to develop a base of knowledge and policy options for Canadian policy-makers and the public for the future of healthcare. In particular, this initiative will seek to inform discussions about the anticipated 2014 expiry of the current First Ministers’ 10-year agreement to strengthen healthcare by coordinating a series of working groups to explore and assess creative options in the areas of healthcare spending and cost drivers, healthcare financing models and approaches to system transformation and innovation.   

Major responsibilities include:

  • Identify key issues and knowledge gaps;
  • Synthesize existing knowledge and insights;
  • Develop policy options and recommendations; and
  • Engage key stakeholders in broader consensus building and public engagement.

Job description


The Foundation is seeking a Senior Advisor, Healthcare Financing and Transformation to complement its existing team of dynamic employees. THIS IS A FULL-TIME, 2 YEAR TERM POSITION.
  
As a key member of the Healthcare Financing and Transformation team, the Senior Advisor participates in the development of a suite of activities aimed at encouraging open and informed dialogue among policy makers and the public about the economic future of healthcare.  Specifically, the Senior Advisor develops and implements program activities including:

  • Scoping, scanning and identifying key issues and knowledge gaps;
  • Summarizing current knowledge and research;
  • Commissioning research and projects; and
  • Organizing roundtables, exchanges and dialogues for policy leaders, experts and the general public.

The Foundation is seeking a Program Officer II, Healthcare Financing and Transformation to complement its existing team of dynamic employees. THIS IS A FULL-TIME, 2 YEAR TERM POSITION.
  
Under the guidance and direction of senior healthcare financing and transformation staff, the Program Officer is responsible for a range of services that support the planning and delivery of CHSRF’s strategic priorities. Priority activities include identifying, developing and supporting CHSRF’s dissemination strategies within priority themes, assuming a lead role in producing summary and communication products, and coordinating and managing program projects and events.
