Health Services Research Advancement Award

The Health Services Research Advancement Award (HSRA Award) recognizes any individual, team or organization that has contributed significantly to the advancement of health services research in Canada.
Since 2000, the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation (CHSRF) has accepted public nominations for the HSRA Award and awarded it to renowned individuals from across the country.

Recipients receive
- A certificate and $15,000 for use in the advancement of health services research in a way designated by the recipient
- Travel, accommodations and registration to the 2011 CAHSPR conference to receive the award
- Opportunities to attend and give presentation(s) about their health services research contribution at future CHSRF-led conference(s)
Who is eligible for this award
- Individuals, teams or organizations that have significantly contributed to the field of health services research in Canada are eligible
- Contributions may be as a researcher or funder or champion or related role in the fields of health services research, as deemed appropriate by the selection committee
- Nominees must be currently active in the health services research field (to be able to use the $15,000 award in a way that would advance the field)
- Individuals in an organization that has previously won are not eligible until five years after the date that the organization won the award.
