EXTRA – Since 2004, the Executive Training for Research Application program (EXTRA) has been creating a culture of evidence use in healthcare leadership. EXTRA is a highly praised part-time, two-year program is designed for healthcare leaders.
CHSRF on Call – Free interactive webinars that feature policy- and decision- makers discussing evidence on current topics related to improving the delivery of health services and the health of Canadians.
Healthcare Financing, Innovation and Transformation – By disseminating the best knowledge and evidence—as well as promoting productive dialogue among policy-makers, researchers and the public—CHSRF is actively supporting improvements to Canadian healthcare by undertaking applied policy research and organizing a variety of policy dialogues in the areas of health system innovation and transformation, cost drivers and efficiency, and financing models.
Patient Engagement – CHSRF’s work in patient engagement supports activities that engage patients in the design, delivery and evaluation of health services, with the goal of improving the quality of care.
Recognition Awards – These awards celebrate: health services leaders who use evidence (Excellence through Evidence), researchers who have significantly advanced the field of health services research (Health Services Research Advancement Award) and students who excel in writing relevant and engaging research summaries (Mythbusters Award).
