Dr. Doug Eby is the Vice President of Medical Services for Southcentral Foundation (SCF), a customer-owned healthcare system that works together with Alaska Native people to achieve wellness for the entire community. 

As a physician executive Doug has helped to create an innovative integrated system of care that is looked to by others as a different way of structuring healthcare.  He presents nationally and internationally on whole system transformation, the medical home, workforce issues, health disparities, and evolving roles for healthcare professionals.

Doug is a family physician.  He has been married for 25 years and has three children.  He has lived in Alaska for more than 20 years. 

 

Donna Galbreath received her medical degree from the University of Washington and completed her residency at the Marquette General Hospital in Michigan in family practice. Born and raised in Alaska and of Athabascan Indian heritage, Ms. Galbreath has devoted her medical career to serving Alaskan native people. She worked in Fairbanks, Alaska for 15 years as a provider and medical director for a tribal organization.

Following that, she moved to Anchorage and joined Southcentral Foundation as Medical Director of Quality Assurance. In this role, she ensures that medical services meet all accreditation, regulatory and compliance requirements. Ms. Galbreath also serves on the hospital’s executive management team and as a key liaison to state and other project/program leads.
